Social media is not only a game changer for SMEs but even students and educational institutes can benefit from it. In general students can use social media for studies, for finding jobs, etc. MBA graduates have more to mint from social media since today marketing is no more about selling on your face but it’s about understanding how you can feel the nerves of a customer. In other words learning about the most important ‘P’ of marketing i.e. ‘PEOPLE.’
For the same reason I was invited by AIMS Institute of Management to share my thoughts on social media to it’s new batch of MBA students. This was my first opportunity to speak with a batch of MBA students. It was an exciting moment for me but at the same time it was a challenge since I was talking before the youth. So I divided my presentation in two parts,
1. Stories of common man who were made heroes by social media.
2. Why should MBA’s care bout social media?

I think feedback was good as I had some interesting questions from the students. The questions where about the security issue that sites like Facebook have, terrorism on social media and how I can I use social media for studies.
Glad that the students had such an interesting mix of questions since they are the future of my country and I am quite proud to see such interest and awareness about social media in the youth.
