Mr. Prime Minister Sir,very good morning on the eve of 62nd Republic Day.
Sorry sir to barge like this in your cabin, it was tough to get into your office early this morning but you know na sir, “India mein sab possible hai”.Sir I need your 5 minutes and not more than that. I know you are a busy man protecting independent India’s sovernighty and it’s people. Sir I am also true Indian, dil sey pure hindustani. I love Indian food, I do go to work regularlly, pay my taxes but sometime I do some shorcut there to save my taxes but sir everyone does it. And I love Bollywood movies, when I can’t afford I download or buy pirated ones. I know Sir it is illegal but what to do now days you really get bored when you watch movies for free, forget watching in a multiplex. Very expensive sir.Okay Okay I know Sir I am talking to much about Bollywood, I know akhir dil hai filmy.Sir In short I am true hindustani who live his life and I don’t interfer in anyones too. If I see something wrong is going I behave like Gandihij’s teen bandar Sir.And Sir very important thing on Republic Day I dont buy liquoir and all day I watch all kinds of patriotic movies, programs and feel very happy about my country.
Yes I know when I am happy and love my country why am I here, I should be with my family celebrating Republic Day.
Well Sir I am not happy and I am tensed too. Yes I am trying to come to the point. Sir I have a question for you. Yes Yes I am asking.
Sir can I relax a bit as I am very excited, nervous about the whole fact that I am talking to the Prime Minister of India. Sir my question is very simple and straight and it is ” Sir I come from a place where the administration has said that I can’t hoist flag anywhere”. Sir I don’t understand this and Why so ? Sir I have been told that it’s you who has said but I want to know Sir I live in an independent country and I love my country like all other fellow citizens then why Sir why ? What is my sin or mistake ? Sir please answer I need an answer.
Sorry Mr. Prime minister if I have been bit bold. Please forgive me but I was not able to control my emotion.
Sir can I have a glass of water.Thank you Sir.
Fine can I continue Sir.
Sir when I was a kid, Republic Day was not a holdiday for us, it was a day for joy and merry. My mother use to get me ready and my brother in whites. Sometimes I use to make fuss of the blue neel that would be bit more on my whites. With small a kiss on my cheek I would board my school bus. I would be very watchful about my ironed shirt and white shoes. If my shoes would be little dirty then I would use some chawk on it and would be ready for the drill. Sir you know what I always wanted a small flag on my shirt like the one you are wearing now on your dress. Sir can I get one so that I can give to my kid who is not so patriotic like me, but how would I expect from him. It’s too much sir when his school is closed and not celebrating Republic Day. Sir it’s not his fault and I can’t say it’s your fault too but let me tell you Sir this generation is slowly forgeting things we cherish. Am I wrong Sir ? You seem to be lost some where.
Once again I am off the track, don’t worry Sir, I am left with few more minutes so please be patient. It won’t be always possible for me to meet you as I am not a very rich guy to pay every time to your office and people. Yes I was talking about my drill. Sir summarizing the whole fact , I use to love Republic Day. Flags were hoisted, sweets were distributed, all kinds of patriotic songs use to be played and our elders, teachers would tell us what kind of effort and blood had been drained by people for this day.
But Sir what about my kid, he asks me, “Father you talk about Republic Day but our Prime Minister is not allowing to do so”. Then why should I love my country and be patrioptic like you. Sir this is alarming, don’t you think so ? He continues to ask me,”Why are other states allowed to do so, why is our people and our state being left aside and being punished like this”.
Sir I don’t have an answer and I am here today to ask you this question as I have heard from media that you have said this. I don’t trust the media so I am asking you this question,”What is the rationality behind not hoisting flag in our place when I and my place is a part of our independent country”.
As a citizen can’t I or my kids have this right,Mr. Prime Minister.
I think Sir you don’t want to answer as you are busy doing your daily work and not looking into my eyes to answer my question. No worries Sir, I would atleast show my kid this video and tell him to learn patriotism and love for country from these kids. Sir these kids are not abnormal or have any deficency they are better than us.
Sir the problem is “We are no more NORMAL”.
Anyway Sir, I am leaving I have a long way to go and you have a long day to answer the country. In the meantime if you have 5 mins do see this video.
